Well, I’m starting my blog again!

I have just transferred web host to SiteGround.

As I was having a lot of issues with my last hosting company.

My websites were very slow even though they weren’t very large.

I kept getting warnings in the cPanel, such as File Usage at 80.57%

CPU Usage was past my limit, even though all I was doing was trying to edit my WordPress theme.

Anyway, the transfer of my site didn’t go as planned, the crossover messed up and my website didn’t load properly.

There were missing files and PHP stuff and to top it off my hard drive with the backups failed when connecting to my laptop!

I’m sure I had backups in the cloud, but I can’t find them.

So here I am starting again.

Backup your work, websites, anything of importance, people.

Lesson learned the hard way. I know backing up to the cloud is a hassle if you have large files or a lot to store but it’s worth it in the long run.

I have just started using Google G Suite with Drive File Stream.

It’s a great tool, you can upload straight from a folder in your computer, it will start where left off automatically if you shut down your computer.

You can access your files even if you are not connected to the internet.

Plus the plan I’m on is unlimited storage!

And You can use it for business to deliver your products.

Just wish I’d discovered it earlier!

To your success,

Colin
